Customized Contact Lens Diagnosis

No one wants to buy a year's supply of contact lenses to then find out they are less than ideal. That's why at PACIFIC eyeDOCTORS you always test drive them for 2-4 weeks before deciding. How's the comfort, vision, handling, solution systems? All these questions are answered through experience. Fitting's include all contacts and all necessary follow-up examinations to ensure eye health during the test drive period.

• Silicone Hydrogel Fitting - The New Standard of Eyecare
  • The oxygen transmission is up to 6 times higher than traditional lenses! That's why you can safely wear them as much as you like. There are also lenses that can be worn as continuous wear over night. Silicone hydrogel lenses are now available in many different lenses, including toric lenses for astigmatism and multifocal lenses.

• Traditional Disposable Lens Fittings
  • Monthly, bi-monthly or daily disposable lenses are to be worn part time in conjunction with eyeglasses.

• Multifocal Fittings
  • Wouldn't you love to be free of glasses part time? Especially for outdoor, active sports and social events? Multifocal lenses are designed to give you clear vision at near and far.

• Mono-vision Fittings
  • This is when you wear a lens in one eye that is your full distance correction and a lens in the other eye with your reading correction in it. This also allows you to have clear vision near and far.

• Astigmatic Fittings
  • Astigmatic lenses are now available in many different prescriptions and materials, even in silicone hydrogel.

• Coloured Lens Fittings
  • Don't like your eye colour? Want to "change it up" for an evening out? Have a special occasion? Coloured lenses are a great way to make a statement.

• Rigid Gas Permeable Lens Fittings
  • Rigid gas permeable lenses, also called RGP or GP contact lenses are made from a hard plastic material and contain no water.

• Keratoconic Fittings
  • Eyes with keratoconus (a disease in which the cornea develops a cone-like shape) usually require an RGP lens.
• Contact Lens Solution
  • We carry a variety of care systems for contact lenses. Your doctor or contct lens fitter will recommend which care system will work best for you and your lenses.

Our prescriptions are filled in our own lab where care is taken to do quality, accurate work in as short a time as possible. At PACIFIC eyeDOCTORS, only FIRST QUALITY MATERIALS are accepted and EVERY PRESCRIPTION is VERIFIED from your records to provide you with the best possible vision.

• Adjustments and repairs of glasses
  • Sat on your glasses? Glasses fell a little bent? Lens fell out? Or worse, you broke them in half? Bring them into the office for an adjustment or repair. We will do our best to bring them back to their original state.

• Sunglasses and Clip ons
  • We have a variey of designer sunglasses to fit everyone's style. We also carry a varity of sunglass clips to fit your current eyeglasses so there is no need for prescription sunglasses.

• Safety Glasses
  • The OVP program through BCAO works hand in hand with certain employers to provide their workers with low cost or no charge safety glasses. Talk to your employer to see if you qualify.

• Cleaning Solutions and Kits
  • Remember never use paper products such as kleenex or paper towel to clean your glasses. Cleaning solutions for your glasses as well as cleaning clothes are a great way to keep your lenses clean. They work great with your glare free coating you have on your lenses. We have a varitey of cleaning kits for the home, work or purse.
