Pacific eyeDoctors^® - Richmond (PeDR) evolved from the amalgamation of two of the longest established optometric practices in Richmond and has become one of the most progressive vision care clinics in B.C.

Drs. Mockler, McNab, and Vetsch have sought out clinical associates who share their dedication to excellence in patient care. At Pacific eyeDoctors^® - Richmond, our Doctors of Optometry have extensive and varied experience in clinical practice and utilize advanced technology diagnostic equipment. Several of our doctors have participated in clinical studies assessing various contact lens materials, designs, and related products. This allows our doctors to provide advanced contact lens care and specialty contact lens fitting.

Years of continuing education focusing on the relationship of vision and learning has resulted in Pacific eyeDoctors^® - Richmond developing a reputation for specializing in visual efficiency training. Participation in visual assessment clinics at several Olympic Games and the provision of ongoing care to many elite athletes has allowed PeDR to provide sports vision expertise to athletes of all abilities.

At Pacific eyeDoctors^® - Richmond, we are committed to giving back to our profession and our community. Several of our doctors have sat on committees at both the provincial and national levels in areas such as Public Education, Quality Assurance / Standards of Practice, Sports Vision, and Children’s Vision. Both the doctors and clinic staff have participated in the Opening Eyes Program of Special Olympics and are dedicated to bringing the gift of vision to developing countries through organizations such as Third World Eye Care Society and Amigos Eye Care.

Whether it is assisting a child to improve their reading efficiency or discovering the presence of eye disease at an early stage with the hopes of being able to affect the outcome, the promotion and preservation of the gift of sight is our driving force.
