Dr. Susy Pierazzo

Dr. Pierazzo was raised in London, Ontario and moved to B.C. after completing the Doctor of Optometry program at the University of Waterloo in 1989. She helped establish the Newton Optometry Clinic that year and subsequently purchased the practice in 1997. Four years later, she expanded and renovated the office to it's present location. It's contemporary yet comfortable style sets the tone for the quality of eyecare Dr. Pierazzo has worked hard to provide -- caring and compassionate with a commitment to eye health care for all ages.

She is now dividing her time between her practice and her young son. Her and her husband of 18 years are enjoying first-time parenthood "later in life!"

Dr. Riley Hanberg

Dr. Hanberg grew up in Tsawwassen, BC. He attended Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario for his undergraduate degree then completed his Doctor of Optometry program at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. After practicing in central Washington State he returned to the lower mainland to pursue his career closer to family and friends. He started with Newton Optometry Clinic in the summer of 2004 and, since then, has been enjoying the opportunity to provide comprehensive eye health care to his patients in the Surrey area.

Outside of his time at the office, he makes family time with his wife and two kids a priority. He also enjoys golfing, skiing, playing hockey and tennis in his down time.
