Contruction Crew in The Refugee Camp

This is what many of the homes look like in the Refugee Camp. Some have electricity if you are forunate enough. Two families were chosen to get new homes during this mission.

Inside the home

Let the construction begin . . . It was approximately 40 degrees with the humitity and the construction crew worked with their hands in the heat the entire week we were there.

Making your own cement

We walked though the Refugee Camp one day. Candy was given out to the kids and it was amazing to see them all come running from everywhere to get a treat.

Suitcases in hand, we delivered donated items to familes. This young girl came running out to show us the dress we had given to her the day before. Allissa (our prescreener) had donated this dress. We couldn't resist taking a picture to show her who was wearing her daughter's outfit.

And in the end when all the hard work was done these two deserving families ended up with these two amazing homes
